Since you indicated that you are currently using the trademark with the sale of your products or services, we will need to submit a specimen to the US Patent and Trademark Office showing your current use of the trademark. A specimen is an example of how you are actually using your trademark in the marketplace with your products/services. You may submit multiple specimens for one or more goods/services.
The specimen must show your trademark used with the goods or services that will be listed in your application and is being used in a way that consumers would perceive it as a source indicator for the goods or services.
Specimen for Goods - Examples of specimens for goods are: the goods themselves, labels and tags affixed to the goods, packaging for the goods, sales display signs/placards where the goods are sold, and webpages selling the goods.
Specimen for Services - Examples of specimens for services are: online advertising or printed matter that shows a direct link between your trademark and the services, TV and radio commercials for the services, invoices showing a direct link between your trademark and the services, business cards and letterhead that show a direct link between the trademark and the services, and marketing materials that show a direct link between the trademark and the services.
